South Korea's Bi-o Kim snatched the clubhouse lead on day 2nd as well of the Laguna Phuket Championship after firing an impressive 7 birdies and a bogey and one double bogey but after that he recovered it well on Friday.

"My form is actually in very good shape... So hopefully next couple of rounds I will keep going and maybe, maybe, at the end, I'm holding something," Kim said.

Udayan Mane, olympian, bounced back from missing the cut last week by shooting a +4 under 66 in the opening round of the Laguna Phuket Championship, tying for 55th place. Veer Ahlawat (67) joined him in Tied-6th place, seeking to expand on his Top-10 finish last week. Mane, who started with two birdies, 2 bogeys and 3+bogeys the Par+4 . Veer Ahlawat, who finished T-8 in the first of the two Phuket Series events, is more consistent, with 7 birdies to two bogeys and 1 double bogey. Shiv Kapur, who had a fantastic start last week, was one shot behind them with a 3-under 68. Tied-64 was his name. In his round of 74 at +4, Kapur had 1birdie, 3 bogeys and 1 double bogey which is down than yesterday’s performance.

One birdie and an eagle helped the 26-year-old ,Thailand's Chanachok Dejpiratanamongkol, finishing the round 2 on a goodmark, which is a tough score and he is in the continuous race of maintaining himself in the top 3.
Kim tied for fourth place in the Blue Canyon Phuket Championship last week.
