Malik, Dagar at New York Team Series Event

Indian golfers, Tvesa Malik and Diksha Dagar are set to play their maiden tournament on the American stage at the Aramco Team Series, Glen Oaks Club, New York.

The event will be a highlight for the weekend between 14th - 16th October as the girls who mainly play Ladies European Tour events will get to play alongside big names like Lexi Thompson, Korda sisters, Lizette Salas and more. 

 

This event is jointly sanctioned by the LET and LPGA Tours which will also see LPGA regular Aditi Ashok. The prize purse for the event will be US$ 1 million. The event is played in individual and team formats simultaneously and features teams of three pros and one amateur for US$ 800,000 and US$ 200,000 for the individual format as prize money.

 

Diksha Dagar managed a noticeable victory at the Aramco Series - London right before the Tokyo Olympics. The format for the game includes - 28 teams of 4, battling it out over three days at Glen Oaks to become the third Aramco Team Series champions. Using a unique scoring system, and allowing an amateur to contribute to the final result of a professional tour event.

Korda sisters will tee it up at the LET team format at Glen Oaks Club following the Solheim Cup and will be joined by fellow US teammates Lizette Salas and Lexi Thompson, plus AIG Women’s Open champion Anna Nordqvist. The field will include five of the world’s Top 20 women golfers.
