Golf in Thailand is growing at a breath-taking pace and the number of Thai Golfers who are carving a niche of their own on the Golfing terrain are a testament to the fact. One of them is none other than Thailand's Jazz Janewattananond who’s setting new benchmarks for his peers to aspire and achieve.

Not many know but Jazz’s real name was Atwit earlier
Jazz, who is all geared up about playing the new format for the first time at the ISPS HANDA World Super 6 Perth that tees off today, believes the growing popularity of Golf in Thailand is stupendous.
It’s a small career renaissance for the young talented Golfer. Earlier, he had lost his Asian Tour card for 2017 but he was swift enough to get back in form by clinching a tournament in Bangladesh in early February. The 22-year-old Golfer went on to finish ninth on the Asian Tour Order of Merit list that year.
Earlier this year, he secured a spot at The Open this year by finishing tied-fourth at the SMBC Singapore Open. Jazz wants to rack up more wins again and he hopes to do that at Lake Karrinyup Country Club this week.

Not many know but Jazz’s real name was Atwit, who was named Jazz by his father as he had a penchant for that genre of music. Even Thailand’s another player Phachara Khongwatmai’s name and pet name ‘Phet’ both translate as ‘Diamond’ in Thai.
Just like his name, he has been shining bright like a diamond and working hard in pursuit of more success. A tremendous inspiration to other young Golfers wielding the club, Phachara is pushing the envelope like never before and proving that Golf in Thailand is growing and at a much faster pace.
