Indian golfer, Aditi Ashok has brought herself alive in the women’s golf world with a brilliant performance at the Olympics and a phenomenal adventure at the Women’s Open qualifiers. Here, by the end of Day 1, she tied 22nd at 1 under 71 along with Scotland’s Kylie Henry, South Korea’s Chella Choi, USA’s Lauren Stephenson, Thailand’s Ariya Jutanugarn, Canada’s Brooke Henderson and 13 other players who are competing for the trophy.

Aditi Ashok made a significant day with four birdies at Hole 1, 10, 13 and 14 along with three bogeys at Hole 6, 7 and 18. The opening day seemed promising for the Indian golfer as she finished 4 strokes behind the leader.
The leaderboard is dominated by South Korea’s Kim Sei-young, the USA’s Nelly Korda and Sweden’s Madelene Sagstrom tied 1 on the leaderboard with 5 under 67 at Day 1. The Olympic Gold Medalist, Nelly Korda closed her day with seven birdies and two bogeys making a competing start for the Indian golfer.
