Delhi Golf Club wins Inter-Club Tournament

The Delhi Golf Club secured a remarkable victory in the 7th Neelu Chopra inter-club tournament at Chandigarh Golf Club, leading the pack with an impressive Stableford score of 97 points. Aashana Monga, Ritu Lumba, Monica Tandon, and Poonam Beesla formed the winning team, showcasing their prowess on the course.

The tournament, held in memory of the late golfer Neelu Chopra, who served as the lady captain at Chandigarh Golf Club, saw fierce competition among 10 participating teams. The Delhi Golf Club's stellar performance earned them the coveted top position, demonstrating their skill and determination.

 

 

Securing the runner-up spot was the Chandigarh Golf Club team, closely trailing behind with a Stableford score of 96 points. Comprising Manpreet Sandhu, Hema Bedi, Jyoti Gosal, and Aneet Gill, they showcased their competitive spirit throughout the tournament.

 

 

In the individual Stableford event, Neelam Garg clinched victory with an impressive score of 29 points, showcasing exceptional talent on the course. Following closely behind was Inder Gill, securing second place with 22 points, displaying commendable skill and precision in their gameplay.

 

Overall, the tournament was a testament to the dedication and skill of the participating golfers, honoring the memory of Neelu Chopra and celebrating the spirit of the sport.
