About me: A Professional Golfer, who loves to live life to the fullest and believes in focusing on
the positive. Recently, I secured my maiden title with a clinical final round of five-under 65 at the
Jaipur Open. I believe a dream doesn't become a reality through magic; it takes sweat, grit and
hard work.
My Golf inspiration: My dad and my coach Shashi Raj Sinha, who is also a certified coach of
the National Golf Academy of India (NGAI). My dad was playing golf when I got into my senses
and then I liked it as a game and the attention I was getting as a junior Aman Raj. Dad was a
great amateur golfer, top 10 in the rankings of the Order of Merit and at that point, Jeev Milkha
Singh was an amateur too.
My Golf achievements:
- Secured my maiden title at Jaipur Open
- Finished rank 8th on the order of merit PGTI 2017
- Finished the year 2016 as Number 1 on the Emerging Player of the Year ranking for PGTI and finished overall 29th in the Rolex Rankings.
- Finshed runner-up first time ever at Sabah Masters
One thing I would like to change about Golf: Nothing really about golf, just that after turning
professional it should be easier to get sponsorship so that players can play freely knowing that at
least their travel and stay is taken care of.
