My tryst with Golf: I was introduced to golf in 2006 during summer golf camp held in army golf club Patiala. In school, I only played on weekends and tournaments only during summer break. I’m a very introvert, reserved and a shy person. And that reflects on the course as I’m very calm n composed as a golfer. Don’t react much to bad shots or good shots.
My Golf inspiration: As Golf is an individual sport and you compete against yourself every time, therefore, I didn’t need anyone else and I could spend hours and hours playing and practising in a really peaceful environment and that really attracted me and I fell in love with the Golf.
On attracting kids to Golf: They should be encouraged to come to see the players play. Golfers should give golf clinics and organise fun events for the kids to make it more attractive and interesting.
Main difference between the courses on the LET and those in India: The courses are well maintained and greens play fast. But now in India, we’ve got really good courses as well.
How do I unwind: I read a lot and draw. And I love spending time in my room.
