About me: A Professional Golfer, who likes to takes life as it comes. Currently, I am pursuing Law from Universal Law College, Lalru.

Playing Golf since the age of 3: My tryst with Golf began at the age of 3. I picked up my Golf club when my father Sandeep Kochhar and grandfather Dr GS Kochhar stook me to the golf course. Since then I started going to the range each day for fun, and well it got me here.

My inspiration to pursue the beautiful game: I think what inspired me was the beauty of this game. An individual sport, and then seeing heroes like Jeev Milkha Singh really inspired me to take this as a profession.

On playing Amateur Golf: I played very little Amateur Golf, I mainly played junior events and was usually on the top of my merit list. But in my last year as an amateur, I won on the PGTI as an amateur, and a few months later won the All India Amateur championship. So then, I was absolutely so that really made my decision clear, that is to turn pro asap. The first few months as a pro were a struggle, getting used to all the things, but I’m totally comfortable with the professional life now.

On Junior Golf in India: The sponsors and the prize money in the game need to increase.
