About me: Born and brought up in Pune, Maharashtra, I did my schooling at St. Vincent’s High School and graduated from Ness Wadia College of Commerce, Pune with a BBA. I played badminton in my school days and then picked up golf as I liked it better. I started playing golf at Poona Club and have continued to do so ever since. Today I hold a handicap of +2. Having a supportive family has always helped me through my golf. My coach, Mr. Aditya Kanitkar and my trainer, Mr. Vinay Kadam helped me further polish my game and make me what I am today!
Inspiration: My parents inspired me to play the sport. And my coach Mr. Aditya Kanitkar made it possible for me to keep at it!
Why Golf and not any other sport: At first, I played golf, because I thought it was an easy sport. Now I’ve discovered the challenges of the sport and it has become my passion.

Personally, I have achieved a lot like the change in my personality, the friends and family I have today because of golf.
Funny moments: Well, playing golf, every moment is interesting and funny. One of my favourites is when a friend had hit his tee shot on a Par 3 in the water two days in a row. He was telling us about that when I suggested that he aim at the water and hit the ball. I told him that subconsciously he will pull the ball onto the green. Next day he came to our table after his round and told us that he aimed at the water and then hit the straightest shot he had all week into the water. Everyone on the table burst out laughing.
Change in golf: The popularity and recognition of the sport in our country, and the understanding that it can be a career option.
