DAY 1 RESULTS
November 18th 2010, Noida: The 6th edition of the four day Toyota Etios India Golf Festival, Delhi’s largest invitational amateur golf tournament, today teed off in style with a Hole-in-one by Mr. JC Sharma at the 180 yard hole number five of the Noida Golf Course. The four day tournament will be played at the par – 72 Noida Golf course from the 18th to the 21st of November 2010. The Toyota India Golf festival saw over 110 golfers tee off on the first day.

The highlight of the first day was a hole-in-one on the 180 yard fifth hole by Mr. JC Sharma. Mr. Sharma who carded the hole-in-one in the morning used a 4-iron for the shot.
India’s top amateur, Gauri Monga was adjudged the winner in the ladies category with a gross score of 38 points. Ashna Monga with a handicap of 18 was adjudged as the winner in the ladies Nett category with a nett score of 38 points.
Manpreet Mann bagged the honours for the top junior today with a gross score of 80, while Yash Jindal with a gross score of 82 was felicitated with the runner’s up prize. Dipankar Kaushal, became the winner in the amateur category with 40 gross points.
In the overall nett category, Sanjeev Malhotra nbagged the top honours in the category A division, with a gross score of 76, while Pranav Parashar was adjudged the runners up.
In the category B of the Overall nett category, Asish Malhotrawas declared the winner while Sandeep Aggarwal was the runner’s up. Prashant Bharadwaj was the winner in the overall gross category with a total of 32 points.
This event, which was conceived in consultation with Ministry of Tourism has been a regular feature in the Delhi golfing calendar for the last six years.
