Talk about talent in Golf and Thailand’s Ariya Jutanugarn’s name features high on the list. Now, after winning the Ladies Scottish Open, the talented Golfer is all geared up to make her strong presence felt in the Evian Championship that kicks off from tomorrow.

Ariya Jutanugarn all set for the Evian Championship
Jutanugarn won the U.S. Women’s Open at Shoal Creek in June. She won the Ricoh Women’s British Open in 2016 for her first major championship title. Ariya will tee it up for the fourth time at Evian, where she has had mixed results. She tied for ninth in 2016 for her best finish there and then missed the cut last year.
Earlier, in an exclusive interview with 4moles.com, Ariya had said that initially, before getting into the game of Golf, she thought that Golf is an old man’s sport. “But I couldn’t resist the lure of Golf and I knew only the game can take care of my family.”

Ariya also came up with an interesting revelation about her mother. “My mother played Golf while she was expecting my elder sister Moriya. Once Moriya was born, she hired a caddie to look after Moriya while she played,” exuded Ariya.
Not many know but Ariya had also first appeared as an 8-year-old to make her presence felt in the Junior World Championship.
Moriya is the older sister — by 16 months — of Ariya Jutanugarn, who is credited to be the first Golfer, male or female, from Thailand to win a major championship. Ariya, who shares a healthy sibling rivalry with Moriya, said they’re uber-competitive not only in Golf but also in Tennis. Whoever loses, pays for the dinner.
Talking more about her sister, Ariya had enthused in the exclusive interview, “We are totally different. She is more of a perfectionist. She does everything logically and thinks very carefully before doing anything. I love being in the moment. I decide things very quickly. And I look up to her in so many ways. And I am so proud of my sister.”
