Anika Varma closed Round 2 at the Women’s Amateur Asia-Pacific Championship standing fourth in position at 7 under par.
With four birdies in her bag and a bogey-free round for the second consecutive day, she happens to be a flabbergasting delight to spectate at the Abu Dhabi Golf Club. Her total on the 72 par course for two days was a phenomenal 137 with 69-68.

Following the growing footsteps of the Indian team is Avani Prashanth who tied 20 on the leaderboard at 2 under along with Indonesia’s Vierra Permata Rosada, China’s Lei Ye, South Korea’s Jihyun Lee and Shinsil Bang and Phillipinnes’ Rianne Mikhaela Malixi.
Tied 26 are Natalli Gupta and Sifat Sagoo at 1 under along with Kriti Chowhan who tied 44 at 2 over. The other Indian amateur’s who missed the cut post-Round 2 are Sneha Singh, Nishna Patel and Hannah Cheryl Alan.

Natthakritta Vongtaveelap has continued to stay at the top position on the leaderboard at 10 under. With a bogey-free round, the idea of good gameplay seems strong for her as she stands two strokes behind the second golfer.
