Water serves as the primary obstacle factor for this course as the Bintang Course is built largely over riverine and swamp areas. Players will also encounter additional challenge posed by man-made ponds which have been dug to add more intrigue to its layout. Each hole on this course has been designed to provide a new and exciting challenge to the golfer. However, the 17th hole will undoubtedly be the most stimulating . Bintan Course, 6834 yards long (blue tee), Par-72, has a highly strategic layout with plenty of variety. This course, built on the riverbank and marshes, has effectively placed ponds, The course is designed with large trees and effectively placed ponds, making each hole a different challenge. The 17th hole in particular is a 90-degree dogleg to the right.
