Celine Boutier wins Women's Scottish Open 2023
Just last week, France’s Céline Boutier delighted the home fans by claiming her first major title with a commanding victory in the Amundi Evian Championship. It was a tremendous moment for the French golfer, who is quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with.
The 29-year-old Boutier finished at 14-under 270 overall. She won the Scottish Open and added the Ayrshire title to the Evian Championship trophy she won last Sunday. Boutier has won $300,000 in prize money.
“It's completely crazy. I would have never imagined that I would be able to win not one, but two tournaments in a row, and yeah, I'm just incredibly in shock. Yeah, I don't think I know what to say or what to think. I think it's just completely out of control. I'm not sure what to think” she said.
