When Golf legend Tiger shockingly quit the US PGA Championship 2022 after struggling in the third round at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the fans were aghast. It was for the first time that Woods had withdrawn from a Major as a professional.

Therefore, the big question that’s taking centrestage right now- Is Tiger Woods in a position to participate in the upcoming Open 2022, that marks its landmark 150th year? Will Tiger Woods lift the Claret jug again?

Well, it appears that Woods is intent on carrying out his plans on playing the forthcoming JP McManus Pro-Am at Adare Manor before pegging it up at the landmark 150th Open.

The 15-time major winner’s recent picture on social media showed how worse his injury for the first time ever.  But that’s definitely not discouraging him to make his strong presence felt at the 150th Open and he's clearly still thinking about his. A photo of him is going viral where he’s taking a practice swing whilst on the sidelines at a local football match.
